Hi, I’m Annie and this is my second year as JSOC President. I am entering my fourth year of JSCHOOL, as well as my fourth year in JSOC!

Jessica Campbell – Vice-President

Hey, I’m Jessica and this will be my second year as JSOC’s vice-president. This is my third year with JSOC, and fourth year in JSCHOOL.

Aneurin Bosley – Faculty Advisor

Aneurin is JSOC’s Faculty Advisor and the Undergraduate Supervisor of Carleton’s Journalism program.

Charlotte Lepage – VP Finance

Hey I’m Charlotte! This is my second year with JSOC, and I’m going into my fourth year at Carleton.

Kathryn Fraser – VP Events

Hi, I’m Kathryn and I am a fourth year journalism student with a minor in history. Outside of journalism, I love reading, theatre and travelling. I am this year’s VP Events and I am super excited to plan J-Gala and J-Prom with the help of our lovely JSOC members!!

Emily MacArthur – Website Coordinator

Hey, I’m Emily! This is my second year with JSOC, and I’ll be keeping our website updated for this year. I’m entering my fourth year of JSCHOOL!

Sophia Lall – VP Communications

I’m Sophia, and I’m a second-year journalism student at Carleton. This will be my second year with JSOC!

Anya Swettenham – VP AEIJM

I’m Anya, a third-year student in the Journalism program. As the VP Equity/AEIJM president for the second year, I look forward to creating a more diverse and welcoming space for all minority students in journalism and media production and design programs. When I’m not studying, in lectures or working on JSOC/AEIJM, you can find me taking photos for the Charlatan or walking my cat, Marnie Macaroni, while listening to an audiobook.

Aidan Kallioinen – VP Academic

Hey guys, I’m Aidan. I’m a third year journalism and political science student. This is my first year with JSOC and I’m really excited to join the team as VP Academic. Apart from journalism, I’m also extremely passionate about public service; I serve as a municipal councillor in my hometown of Espanola, Ontario!

Noureen Moghadam – VP Academic

Hey, I’m Noureen, and I’m a fourth year Carleton journalism student with a minor in forensic psychology! I’m super excited to be one of JSOC’s VP Academics this year. Outside of journalism, I love music, drawing, and photography!

Emma Fazakas – VP Merch

Hi! I’m Emma, a third year journalism and communication & media student at Carleton University. This year I am pleased to take over as one of the VP’s of Merchandise at JSOC and create merch that students will be proud to wear. Outside of Journalism I love art, climbing, and writing fiction!

Sarah Forrest – VP Merch

Hi! I’m Sarah and I’m in my third year of journalism. I’m super excited to be a part of JSOC’s merch team for the upcoming year! aside from reading and writing, I love sitcoms, baking, and trying new coffee shops!

Sean Coombs – VP Student Services

Hey, I’m Sean, and this is my second year with JSOC. I’m in my fourth year of journalism at Carleton!

Jeremy Borg – VP Student Services

I’m Jeremy! This is my first year with JSOC and my fourth year at JSCHOOL!

Hannah Melnic – VP Social

Hi! I’m Hannah! I am one of the Social VPs for this upcoming year. I am originally from Winnipeg and I am going into my fourth year of a Combined Honours degree in Journalism and History with a minor in Spanish at Carleton. This is my first time being apart of the JSOC executive team and I am super excited to connect with you all.
